TITLE: Opera House Announces Fourth Film Club Series

Stonington, ME – Opera House Arts is pleased to announce its fourth Film Club series! Film Club is a membership-based program that offers space for people to gather and watch classic films together on the Stonington Opera House big screen.

For the Fall of 2026, we selected 30 English-language films made between 1938 and 2017 and voted by the filmmakers and directors affiliated with the British Film Institute as among the “Greatest Films of All Time.”

Members of Film Club vote for films they would like to see from the list.  Voting will take place from now to October 2, 2026. The six films with the most votes will be announced on October 6. You will receive a link to vote after purchasing your membership.

Screenings will be on Tuesdays at 6pm: October 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Membership is $30 for the six-film series and is available for purchase at any time. Each membership includes a guest pass to one film.

The lobby and concession stand will open an hour before each screening and stay open for an hour after for gathering and discussion.
