TITLE: Opera House Arts Brings the Magic Back with 2025 Live! for $5 Series — Now at 6pm!

Stonington, ME — Opera House Arts (OHA) is thrilled to announce the return of its popular Live! for $5 series–now at the family-friendly time of 6pm.  The series offers affordable, intergenerational entertainment throughout the summer with a lineup that is bigger, bolder, and more diverse than ever, continuing OHA’s mission to make world-class entertainment accessible to everyone.

The Live! for $5 series features a lineup of performances, including music, circus acts, comedy, and even puppets, taking place on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. The 2025 season begins in May and runs through September, promising a vibrant array of talent and creativity.

Live! for $5 kicks off with trained mentalist and skilled showman, Andrew Silver in The Silver Circus on May 20.

On June 3, join The Firefly Experience with Firefly of the Penobscot Nation for an immersive evening of light, sound, and storytelling followed on June 24 with Diamonds & Toads, an Enchanted Islands tale brought to life by Melody Bates.

Catch Hymn for Her for some juiced-up backwoods country blues with a dose of desert rock psychedelia on July 15 and then prepare for some swashbuckling fun with Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers in Everybody Loves Pirates on July 22.

The laughs don’t end there because Janoah the Juggler is ready to entertain with a virtuosic one-person circus on August 5 and Casey Carle is prepared to amaze with his bubbles center stage in BubbleMania! on August 9.

The series will end with a bang on September 9 with the indie pop-rock band, Bee Parks and the Hornets.

Tickets for all Live! for $5 events are now on sale and can be purchased online at operahousearts.org or by calling the box office at 207-367-2788. Tickets are priced at just $5 per person, making it an affordable outing for all. For live performances, Hancock County students K-12 attend free!
